cabal-helper software package provides Simple interface to some of Cabals configuration state, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cabal-helper
cabal-helper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cabal-helper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cabal-helper *
You will get with cabal-helper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
